Students spend time engaged in, identifying, and acknowledging the richness and wealth that diversity brings to our country and global family. They will explore their own identities through discussion of self, family, culture, history and stories to connect with others who have contributed to our human legacy. While we may not all look alike, speak the same language, eat the same foods or dance to the same music, we all seek safety, food, shelter, love and ultimately happiness.
